Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Procedure Assistant to join our healthcare team. Employee will travel among our 3 locations: Hattiesburg, D'Iberville, and Meridian as needed assisting providers in procedures. A travel allowance IS provided. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and medical terminology, with experience in assisting with Sclerotherapy and laser treatments in a medical-surgical environment is a plus.Duties:- Set up and assist provider during Sclerotherapy and Vein Laser Treatments.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and document patient information accurately.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
- Room patients and prep patients for procedures.
- Communicate pre and post procedure care instructions clearly to patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to clinic protocols.
-Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.Experience:MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR medical assisting experience in a procedure-based capacity.
MUST KNOW STERILE PROCEDURE
- Familiarity with medical administrative support functions will be beneficial.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for successful interactions with patients and staff.Compensation:Work in office environment with PTO, Paid Holidays, Health Insurance Package, and 401K Options
Hourly range $17-$19 based on experience, certifications, education, etc.
Additional monthly auto allowance provided for travelRequired
