Job Description:
A company is looking for a Privacy & Regulatory Counsel to
ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory obligations while
supporting product development.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on privacy and
regulatory issues
Develop and refine privacy and regulatory policies, procedures, and
training
Serve as a key contact for privacy-related inquiries during
contract negotiations
Required Qualifications
8+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house or at a
government agency
Substantial experience advising on privacy and regulatory issues in
technology or fintech
Deep knowledge of US financial data privacy laws and state consumer
privacy laws
Working knowledge of international privacy laws, including GDPR
Experience with regulations applicable to financial services, such
as FCRA and Dodd-Frank Act
