We believe that empowering our people and helping them reach their full potential is essential for the long-term success of both Lumen and our customers.Program dates: May 30 - August 8, 2025.LocationThis position is fully remote/ work from home.The Main ResponsibilitiesThe IT Software Analyst Intern will collaborate in a team environment to analyze and implement software (SW) licensing best practices to ensure compliance with supplier agreements and corporate policies related to software asset management.Other responsibilities of intern will include:Develop reports and queries from various SW asset management tools to improve SW asset usage tracking (specifically for Cloud-based applications)Prepare executive level presentationsDevelop an understanding of business processes, products, and metrics related to SW asset managementWhat We Look For in a CandidateProgram eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.Required qualificationsEnrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internshipGraduating August 2025 - May 2027Preferred fields include bur not limited to: Business, Economics, Management Information Systems, Project Management or related fieldIntern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025)US work authorization is required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.Proficiency and understanding of:Strong background using Microsoft Office Suite of applications like Word, Excel and PowerPointStrong analytical abilities, including research, conceptual, quantitative skillsEffective communicator, including business writing and presentation skillsStrong and positive interpersonal talents; able to interact with people from all disciplines (e.g., financial analysts, technical analysts, contract analysts, business users, corporate procurement) and to adapt interpersonal style to other culturesMotivated self-starter who works independently and manages multiple priority initiatives simultaneously, while keeping a customer-oriented mind setCompensationInternship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.Hourly Based Pay Range:Min: $22.00/hourMax: $35.00/hourWhat to Expect NextAfter completion and submission of your application, you will be asked to participate in a virtual video interview.
