### Job Title: Prepared Foods Associate Team Leader
#### Job Summary:
Whole Foods Market is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prepared Foods Associate Team Leader to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and a passion for coaching and mentoring others.
#### Key Responsibilities:
--- Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising
--- Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets
--- Assist in analyzing sales, reports, and labor data
--- Demonstrate advanced product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products
--- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
--- Function as the point person and departmental leader in the absence of the Team Leader
--- Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution
--- Foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale
--- Consistently communicate and model WFM vision and goals
#### Qualifications:
--- 18+ months of Culinary Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience
--- High energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for our products, core values, and company philosophy
--- Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills
--- Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory
--- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
--- Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday, and working in wet and dry conditions
--- Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
