Job Description:
PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician Level
III for a travel job in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.Job Description &
Requirements
Working under the supervision of the Director of Quality
Management, this role involves developing and implementing
infection control policies, conducting surveillance, and analyzing
infection data.
The Infection Preventionist collaborates with both clinical and
non-clinical teams to promote compliance and ensure adherence to
best practices.
This position supports performance improvement activities and
ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
The role requires dedication to the organization's Compliance
Program and Standards of Conduct.
Qualifications:
Minimum education- Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Sciences
BSMT- ASCP -Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology certified by
the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), required
CIC- Certification in Infection Control . required
Previous experience in the area of infection surveillance,
prevention, and control is preferred
Broad knowledge base and/or job experience in areas related to the
application of epidemiological principles and infectious disease,
concepts of sterilization, disinfection, sanitation, and adult
education principles and practices related to patient care.

Shifts: 8 HOURS Day Shift
