  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - Med/Tele Oncology 5 South 48's--Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will also consider 36hrsLength: 13 weeksWeekend Requirement: every other or 2 weekends per month is standard, could be higher to meet--needs of departmentHoliday Requirement: rotate in with regular staffMust work at least 3 of the following 6 dates: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years--Requirements:--
  • MS license
  • Must have solid experience as an RN - at least 1 year on first job
  • 1 or more years of Level 1 or very Large hospital experience required
  • Must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes, hem/onc
  • Epic Charting experience is required
  • BLS
  • Chemo experience preferred
  • Travel experience with extension is preferred
  • Onc cert not required--but would love candidates with experience/ Manager will teach clinician how to administer Chemo - can be a great learning opportunity# Beds: 32Nurse:Patient Ratios: typical ratio for all medsurg units is 1:5 up to 1:6 at times, ratio would be adjusted down for higher acuity patientsCommon diagnoses/Types of patients hem/onc, chemoFloating Requirements?: within skillset, all staff float between all medsurg units. higher acuity--patients would be given to core staff50 mile radius rule for travelersLocal Candidates accepted--Epic Travel Staffing:--
